Founded in 2007, I have taught the rudiments of good manners, respect and etiquette to more than 150 kids, teenagers and adults. The programme is an expression of what is needed today: children and teenagers alike are eager to behave gracefully in today’s Society. Kids want to be “in the know”. Being able to learn the codes that regulate social behaviour is of the utmost importance. Furthermore, our reality is evolving at a fast pace and newcomers to Canada are bringing a new dynamic to social interactions, multiculturalism bring for many the new biculturalism of the 60s. It is important for us to bridge the gap of ignorance. Westmount School of Etiquette and good manners guides canadians and newcomers alike in applying our unique canadian Etiquette, in their daily life.
